Ride experience for Medusa (Six Flags Discovery Kingdom)

Medusa (Six Flags Discovery Kingdom) begins as the metal barred gate opens. Riders take an immediate left turn leading to the climb up the 150 ft tall lift hill. Once the climb ends, riders make a slight right turn into a near vertical drop 150 ft below, reaching a top speed of 65 mph.

The drop leads into the 128 ft tall vertical loop, one of the tallest in the world. After the loop, riders then rise 110 ft into a dive loop that drops, followed by a zero-g roll. After the zero-g roll, the track drops and enters into a sea serpent roll, the first of its kind for a B&M coaster.

Riders go over a short brake run, immediately followed by a sharp left downward turn into a flat spin. The flat spin leads into a wide left turn that leads to a second corkscrew roll. Riders then make a quick right turn followed by a sharp left turn into a brake run that leads into the launch station, ending the ride.
