Forty passengers can ride Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth at the same time. Each rider sits side by side together in a giant circle. Each seat utilizes over-the-shoulder restraints (OTSRs) for safety. The rider’s legs dangle in the air throughout the ride.
Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth is a pendulum swing ride. Riders will swing back and forth throughout the ride while slowly spinning in the air like a pendulum. Riders swing back and forth for approximately 3.5 minutes until the ride slows down and returns to the standard upright position, where riders exit the ride. During the ride, each swing gradually increases in height and speed until it reaches 147 ft in the air (three feet below California’s height limitation) and 70 mph on the comedown. This high speed makes it the fastest ride at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.
