Ride Experience for Superman Ultimate Flight (Six Flags Discovery Kingdom)
Superman Ultimate Flight begins with riders launching out of the station from a tunnel in the shape of Superman’s ‘S’ symbol. Blue lights in the symbol’s shape line the walls as riders make their way outside. After exiting the station, riders begin the climb of the 150 ft vertical hill but stall halfway up.
Riders descend backward through the launch station up another hill with a slight right turn on a non-inverting loop, stalling once more. Riders then continue forward, reaching the top speed of 62 mph, and go back through the launch station and up the 150 ft vertical hill, clearing the first twist.
At the top of the 150 ft hill, riders go over a slow heartline roll which simulates zero-g. This heartline roll at 150 ft is one of the highest inversions in the world. Riders then descend into a near-vertical drop into the non-inverting half loop that leads into a second twist. From there, riders race through the launch station, back through the tunnel, and halfway up the 150 ft hill before slowly returning backward into the launch station, ending the ride.

Riders must be at least 52″ to ride Superman Ultimate Flight with an adult or 54″ to ride alone.
