Like most aerial swings, Wave Swinger allows only one person per chair. Each chair contains a protective bar and two metal chains to hold onto while riding. A center chain rests between the bar and the legs for extra safety. Chains connect each chair to the top of the large, colorful carousel spinner.
Wave Swinger begins with the carousel top slowly lifting riders into the air. Gradually, the carousel starts to spin faster as it rises. As it rises, the carousel top tilts to the side, causing riders to swing at an angle. Riders swing at a higher angle where the edge of the carousel top is highest and a lower angle where the top’s edge is lowest. Throughout the ride, the carousel top tilts at different angles to change the height at which the riders swing.
