Twisted Cyclone has three inversions, a maximum speed of 50 mph, a maximum height of 100 ft, and a steep 75-degree angle drop. These elements give Twisted Cyclone a Six Flags Max Level Thrill rating.
Max Speed | 50 mph |
Max Height | 100 ft |
Inversions | 3 |
Max Angle Drop | 75-degrees |
Manufacturer | RMC (Rocky Mountain Construction) |
Twisted Cyclone Ride Experience
Twisted Cyclone begins with the train making a left turn out of the station, going over a few bunny hills, and then arriving at the 100 ft tall chain lift hill. At the top of the chain lift hill, riders go down a 75-degree angle drop and then proceed into the first inversion, a step-up-under-flip. The train turns wide right into the second inversion, a downward barrel roll.
Riders make a wide right turn, angling the riders parallel to the chain lift hill, then go over an airtime hill. The train makes a left turn, followed by another airtime hill that brings riders to the third inversion, a zero-G roll. Riders go over two airtime hills, a left turn, and a final airtime hill. The train goes over a brake run that brings riders back to the station, ending the ride.

#35 – Monster Mansion
Monster Mansion at Six Flags Over Georgia is one of the oldest rides in the park, yet it still remains one of the best and, by far, the most creative. Monster Mansion is a dark mill chute boat ride that takes riders on an indoor adventure to the world of monsters, where they will meet all kinds of whimsical and scary creatures on the trip. Monster Mansion is the closest ride to a Disney attraction that you will find at Six Flags Over Georgia. Think of it as Six Flags Over Georgia’s version of Splash Mountain without the iconic drop.
Monster Mansion Ride Experience
Monster Mansion begins with riders getting into the boat and entering a tunnel that leads into the Monster Mansion. In the background, riders will hear the original Monster Mansion song.
Above the entrance to the mansion, riders will see a sign that says, “Monster Picnic Today” and a “Humans allowed” sign below it on the left. As soon as the riders enter the mansion, a small green monster in a suit takes a picture of them using a tall, pink monster bird camera. Riders pass by a tall female humanoid monster named “Mrs. Coplin, ” holding a small dog. She welcomes the humans to picnic but warns them to stay out of the marsh.
Riders exit the mansion and find themselves in an outdoor monster party. The riders first see a group of monsters playing in a band. One monster plays the trumpet, while another uses his stomach as a drum. Two others stand nearby, playing their instruments. Riders pass the Marshall, Billy Bob Fritter, who tells the humans to keep their hands inside the boat. He then reiterates to them not to go in the marsh.
Riders pass by many monsters of all sizes doing their own things. One group portrays three children monsters getting coached by a large female bird-like monster. Deeper in, a monster with giant lips sets up a kissing booth and mimics kissing the humans as they pass by. Riders then pass by a monster carnival with games such as “Hit the Human” and a ring-the-bell strength test.
The music gets lower in the background, and the lights get very dark. Lightning flashes as the riders begin to move left. The Marshall appears on a police car and tries to stop the humans from entering the marsh but fails.
Riders go up a small chain lift hill that approaches a smokey, evil, smiling face. In the background, a voice laughs and says, “Yes, right this way.” Now, riders find themselves in the pitch black, surrounded by blinking eyes. A giant monster reveals itself and moans, “humans.” Riders then pass by more scary-looking monsters who all call out to the riders as they pass by. Occasionally, monsters appear from the darkness as the riders pass by, unaware. Riders pass by a dragon-like monster and a giant ant-like monster that warns the others that the humans are getting away.
The Marshall appears with his companion and shoots a canon at the “chasing” evil marsh monsters. Riders enter the next room, where they are back at the monster party. The original music plays again in the background, accompanied by the monster band. Mrs. Coplin welcomes the humans back from the marsh as they re-enter the mansion. Inside the Monster Mansion, a giant evil monster head with glowing red eyes appears as the riders enter its mouth. Riders then exit the tunnel that looks like the inside of the monster’s throat and find themselves back at the station where the ride ends.
Monster Mansion Average Wait Times
You can expect to wait 15-20 minutes to ride the Monster Mansion.

#38 – Log Jamboree
Log Jamboree at Six Flags Over Georgia is a classic flume water ride. It is the oldest operating water ride in the park, first opening in 1968. This flume ride is more of a relaxing trip around the Georgia section of Six Flags Over Georgia than an exhilarating ride. On Log Jamboree, you float past multiple huge nearby coasters, and if you are lucky, you may get an up-close view of the trains in motion.
At the end of Log Jamboree is the best part. After going up a conveyor belt hill, you drop into the water below, creating a huge wave that wets all the riders in the boat. Log Jamboree is a relaxing (and refreshing) ride, especially during the warm seasons.
